Thanks guys. I actually had a few minutes of seat time last week test riding a few ebikes at Hilltop. Hip felt good, although trying to get air probably didn't help it. Levo is damn heavy, but the motor is awesome.
Anyway I'm hoping to get back out soon. I recently picked up a turkey onesie pajama and you know how that goes 😂

First day back. Sorry about not keeping up with posting. Got shocked back to reality yesterday with Uncle Jerry’s house in JC going through closing. Jean and I had a couple reflective days leading up.

Still haven’t got full confidence back. Bit unnerved cause I don’t understand why I crashed. I’ve had a number of bad falls over the last 25 years. All of them had lessons learned that gave me confidence to make adjustments to avoid reoccurrence. This is different, cause I’m not sure how to avoid it happening again. So, get back on the bike and hopefully over time the fear will subside.

Proud of you Don. As the saying goes, courage isn’t the absence of fear…it’s taking action despite it. I’m not sure if you’ve even able to speculate at this point… but do you think that you might have known the cause at the moment but “lost time“ as a result of the crash? Either way, your trepidation is both understandable and justified.

Thanks for the nice words. Went back today to the “Scene of the Crime”. Found a root just where you turn on to the path. Likely was covered by leaves and it has an impact mark on it. Probably hit it at an angle and wheel got caught then OTB.
Feel a lot better having a better understanding of Root 😎cause.
