10 hours later I was out of Hospital. Nothing broken, no brain bleeds (I’m on blood thinners) and a lot of stitches in my knee area. Off the bike for at least two weeks.

Thanks all for the kind support and “Frank Wookie” as he appears in my contacts for the personal messages. Funny… on that ride I made a comment to a kid riding a bike that I liked her helmet. I always say that to encourage they continue. I hit my head really hard and saw stars for a couple minutes. So keep those helmets on even for the low risk rides.

Todays ride was with Conall…a 12 y/o who kicked but!! He did 8.8 miles and was on my wheel the entire time. I’m sure he will take a nice nap, but so could I.

Got another ride in today although I didn’t feel the greatest. But @Brian Snyder rode with me and assured me that any ride was good. So we rode from the group camp site and had a bit of a plan for next weeks ride. No pics, but I have gos data this time.

Your pics give me hope that one day I too will get back on the bike. I haven't ridden for like 6+ weeks. Been nursing a hip injury and currently in between health insurances.
