Waywayanda Race

Does the term "Chumbucket" paint a decent picture?

hmm.. My tires are not really made for the mud (Maxxis Crossmarks) but its all good. Is the start line/waiver signing where the MTBNJ trail directory shows? If not could someone put up a google map of where it is so that I can get directions. Thanks

Paul

I think it's all going to depend on a couple of factors.

*If it only rains before hand most of the beginner will clean the trails up for the sports and the sports will make it better for experts and so on.

*If it rains all during the event it's probably going to be a slopfest but manageable. Rocks and roots are goona be out to get ya.

Hopefully we can get the race in with no rain or a very light drizzle and I would be cool with that. Either way it's gonna be the first race of the season and it's gonna be fun to get out and see everyone again. I'm psyched. I'm hoping for top half of my class and I'd be happy.

Course was in good shape today when we marked it. Pre reg ends soon and the t-shirts are NICE!

PS: watch out for the P-O'd geese family...

I thought those geese were just after me...today was the second day I got hissed at by the very first bridge...protecting their goslings :p

Yeah I knew where I was going last time too, but Google didn't help with that. Click on his map, and click the parking area, then get directions from 07946. It will send you right up through the park itself, like this:

http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=P...d=106075455181547650428.00044befdc0dc06315f57

#12, Range Rd, is a shooting range.

And it zips you right through the park:
http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=P...d=106075455181547650428.00044befdc0dc06315f57

Google is a little out of touch up there.

Look at the bright side Norm; you now know where the rifle range is! Could come in handy one day
