Vermont fall tour must hit trails?

Following a guy who races DH. Very happy I put the magic Mary up front. No idea what was under the foot of leaves. The rain pulled down a ton of leaves. Woodstock tomorrow should be dicey.
I rode Mt Pegg on Monday and most of the trails were clear. The rain wasn't too heavy tuesday night so it might still be decent.
Biggest issue was driving through Woodstock with the Leaf-Peeping gridlock! I wanted to try that new Ranch Camp restaurant/bikeshop and couldn't get in the place it was so crowded.

But Ranch Camp is in Stowe.

We were up in Vermont last weekend. There ain’t no leaves to peep this year.

They just opened one in Woodstock.

I agree, the foliage was pretty dull this year.

Oh shit, good to know!

Apparently it was super dry, then it frosted, so the leaves just dropped with little-to-no colors. I guess it happens now & again but at the end of the day, the people still booked all the lodging so they're coming regardless.

At Stratton on Sunday, there were more people there than I have ever seen in the summer by a factor of 5.

I'm sure the summer-like weather didn't hurt either.

s6 and mt peg yesterday.

Both are amazing. Leaves were more of a drama in Woodstock.

After Kingdom we rode Perry Hill, Bolton Valleyy and Mad river.

Very tired legs.

No ebikes.. Some lifts, one shuttle.

Zero mechanicals.

Stellar trip.

My heart is full and I am already thinking about what spots to hit next time...

Missed the Driving range and cochran's

Bolton lift is dreadfully slow, but the views and the dirt were truly all-time.

This trip was as good as any western trip i've done.

VT is on fire with trial building and trail access. My buddy NICK is working hard to make VT even better. So lucky to have him as a tour guide and friend.

Dirt is so good. New owner. Same as thunder. This place will get a lot better. Staff seemed stoked.

I thought Bolton was fun, but that lift...whew....its hard to make the highland lift seem speedy 🙂

Yeah, the Bolton lift was almost 16 minutes to the top. We listened to 1/4 of an audiobook on the lift that day.
