Following a guy who races DH. Very happy I put the magic Mary up front. No idea what was under the foot of leaves. The rain pulled down a ton of leaves. Woodstock tomorrow should be dicey.Leaf cover too much to locate hidden baby heads and shark fins?
I rode Mt Pegg on Monday and most of the trails were clear. The rain wasn't too heavy tuesday night so it might still be decent.Following a guy who races DH. Very happy I put the magic Mary up front. Biggest issue was driving through Woodstock with the Leaf-Peeping gridlock! I wanted to try that new Ranch Camp restaurant/bikeshop and couldn't get in the place it was so crowded.
They just opened one in Woodstock. But Ranch Camp is in Stowe.
We were up in Vermont last weekend. There ain’t no leaves to peep this year.

I agree, the foliage was pretty dull this year.
I'm sure the summer-like weather didn't hurt either.Oh shit, good to know!
Apparently it was super dry, then it frosted, so the leaves just dropped with little-to-no colors. I guess it happens now & again but at the end of the day, the people still booked all the lodging so they're coming regardless.
At Stratton on Sunday, there were more people there than I have ever seen in the summer by a factor of 5.
That’s awesome. Glad you made it!
