Tuesday Night CR Pain Train Ride

Woody and I are meeting tomorrow night at 5:15/Newmans lot to continue the ride that Jeremy started last year. Pace is going to be pretty fast (8.5 mph average, give or take) and it's going to be a drop ride. So, if you're going to join us, make sure you know the park layout just in case you fall off the track. We will probably warm up for about twenty minutes and then let it rip. If you drop me, that's okay, I know my way back to the parking lot.
 
I will be able to run into you guys after the 20 minute warm up in the future. After that, I don't know, but we will see 😛
 
No takers on this? :scared: How come roadies are always ready to throw down, but mtb'ers always seem scared to show up for a ride like this?

I'll be very close to the start time, can we agree on a generic "warm up loop" so I could ride into the loop? Like maybe part of the blue trail?
 
I don't know the park too well, but I can read a map. I will be in the Jeep

Whats the loop? Just curious, any of you guys/gals riding a SS?

This is up to Dave... But I think warming up and putting the nails in the coffin on blue is the way to go.

I'm just a follower...not a leader; so I'm down for whatever the group says. But I think that sounds good.
 
I'll make a post if we decide to cancel due to rain, but I think we're going to be ok tonight.

We never had a set in stone route. Usually it's a warmup on blue and wing it from there. Come on out, it will be painful and fun all at the same time. No pain no gain, Mr. Carson.

Maybe someone can knock off Jeremy's guardrail time tonight:getsome:.
 
If this was a little later I'd be down to come out. I'd have to leave work pretty early to get there on time...

I officially object to the day chosen to do this ride. That's all I have to add.
 
Jim, we'll ride back to the lot after the blue warm up. That will probably be around 5:35-5:40. I don't know if that helps. maybe for future rides we can start at a later time.

I didn't think the Tuesday HG crew would be interested in this ride, perhaps we can change the day of the cr ride next week.

There's also a train station at the Gilbride lot. We'll probably roll thru there at about 6:00... but you'll have to jump onto a moving train!
