That was the deciding factor on getting a road bike, my MTB hits around 45.

I don't see any draw to off-road fixed gear biking. Anyone who wishes to try and state their case, meet me at the top of The Wall at Mahlon this weekend and we'll chit chat a little after we get to the bottom...

there isn't any real "advantage" off-road except for fun, and it's defiantly not for every trail.

Nice! On a 2" wide wheel thats fine, but on a skinny wheel that would get me a bit shakey.
