the last pic is pretty cool, where was the tempeh shop? How is the bike culture now in Indonesia? Not long ago in China, many commuted by bike then after a period of bike shares and ebikes, the large cities are disfavoring them for commuting, now cars are the preferred mode.

more than 30 years old..an American Expat that i know well gave me this in 1994,.he brought this ball fromm US when he came to work in Indonesia in the 90's ...i also have a very old surfing board wich he also gave me,we lost contact long time ago,he's from New Mexico.

Hope all is well with you. Will take care of Jack's and TDP in your absence. Peace be with you my friend!

Hey @liong71er - I checked with my ghostwriter friend, and she is retired! (i forgot she had a few years on me, cause always acted so young)
She couldn't recommend anyone for helping document your adventure. :(
I'll keep thinking about it, you keep making notes!

went out for a short exploring my regions or my community Backyard i live in not so fancy gated communityon this ride i was exploring my neighborhood wich is only 2miles away from where i live, this is how's life in regular folks in Indonesia
this is outskirts of city Jakarta you won't see Highrise or fancy mall or buildings, just regular folks living in village or Kampung (indonesian words)

during the Pandemic, although they aware what's going on in this world, they seem not worried or scare with it
life pretty much normal in this part of the world
i saw kids in kindergarten are celebrating graduation with their teachers

i saw folks working at shaop, they are still lives their normal life go to works, conducting business
pretty much basic,,except in big city whereas goverment ask the business district or shop and big mall to close..

but not in rurals or villagers they still go about their normal life.

i already write my story about why we immigrate to US in This Blog...it was in 1998 when a political turmoil hit Indonesia (google it)
we were just starting our business,we own a small contracting business 1 years into operation after 1998 Riots, the Business went Bankrupt and we tried to survive that's why we ended in Clifton in 2001,,

we own the house before we came to US
good thing i still own it,didn't selling it while we lives in US,otherwise i'll be Homeless for sure

what next?
Nothing...i just try to make my boat doesn't sinking
it's not leaking yet, although the course has changed but i let the wind carry it,hopefully it went well

and here's where i live, nothing fancy but atleast i have roof over my head.
if you guys Think i'm Rich..??
come visit me here, you can stay at my house i live all by myself here...i'm not ashamed with how my house looks like or the conditions i live in
as you can see,,i have practically no fancy furniture or fancy appliances...

Is your plan to stay there or to come back to the US? What’s your wife doing now?
well,,i can live anywhere in the world
but,tbh my wife, she loves US so much as well as i'm too,so in the meantime i have to adjust and adapt to my new life, wich is felt strange
i felt like i'm American living abroad?
i really wish to comeback if somehow there is a miracle..

i can't return anymore since i was deported and i get 10 years ban from entering US soil

my wife she still works at her same place for 18yrs
and she would have to stay there until our pet dues (3-5 yrs maybe)
ask walter he knew exactly what my story and how he helped me and wife during our though time,

Take care,and xie xie!!
