The Good Deals Thread

Not trying to steer you away from NBD, but it's likely your tires killing your ride. Try lower rolling resistance tires instead of a new bike
I’m 1000% sure you are correct there. My 29er hardtail with fast rolling tires is down for maintenance, so I did thisnlast one on my Ragley, which is 27.5…2.6, 2.8 R/F. It was a very noticeable downgrade from the lighter 29er I used last time.

In both cases though, I only made it inro mileage of mid 30’s whereas my daughter went 50+.

But I know there is no bike besides maybe an e-bike that is going to completely eliminate the ever increasing fitness gap between her and I. She keeps getting fitter and I just keep getting older. 😂

Marzocchi z1 27.5 180mm for $250

Want a fox 36 gripx2, just replace the damper, need different travel, just get an air shaft…. Do both and it’s still cheaper than a 36.IMG_3314.png

Good luck finding a 29” set of lowers though…

Crazy good deal on basic RS fork for $80!

I have the same fork on the Kent. Not exact a $600 fork but worth a try for under 100

Intense gravel bike flash sale, as low as $1299
Good prices for those components Shimano GRX.

Commentary from Single tracks:

$99 for a pair of 4-piston brakes!? We double checked, and Jenson says the “Custom Brake Kit includes front and rear brakes with pre-installed brake adapters.” You probably won’t save a lot of weight with they’re powerful and eMTB-approved.

Is that for left and right? Can they be used for Amish bikes?
