Im thinking about getting a DH bike for next year so this looked interesting.....That said, @Ryan.P doesn't have one of these...so I would have to ask why first.

He probably runs the DT Swiss with the similar mechanism in it. 🙂

The O-chain looks appealing, but if I don't try it I won't know if it really helps... Kickback is one reason why I don't run a high-engagement rear hub. That and cost.

Used one for about 6 months , it definitely works . It was first Gen ochain and the chain line was kinda funky and was very chonky. On my evil that also had a chonky swingarm it was actually starting to eat into it so decided to sell it because at the time they were hard to get and I pretty much broke even on it . Now they have them Specific for enduro bikes so I'm sure chain line is easier to get right and they look must slimmer than the one I had .
