cool. I am not really into tattoos, but I admire the artistic ability that goes into them. I have a very good friend that does tattoos and he does amazing work.
Cute doggie too.

Think they're cool looking on others but not for me. I keep thinking of what they will look like on old wrinkled pruney skin....yuck

true - but old pruney skin looks - well - kinda 'yuck' either way - but to each their own - like to see some other mtbnj ink on here though:hmmm:

My /Ink...... :getsome:

Marley...they didn't have a bigger Tiki to go with? You can barely see yours.

where is young sexy robs, that boy freaked me out when I saw his. I was like no way...

Nice! ...how much does a piece like that cost? Also, how do you decide which artist to go with? I don't have any tats but been on the fence for a while.

Thanks, usually on the average between 150-200 an hour.. I've been looking for an artist for about a year or so.. I actually found my guy through a friend of mine who had both arms done by him.. His name is Dave Sena out of NYC.. If you looking for Japanese you can check him out as well as Aqua Santa Tattoo..

I hate the word "tats" and I hate the word "ink", so friggin mtv and cliche college kid crap🙄😀

I have one tattoo that I got when I was 19 after my friend was killed at Club Bene. He had a half sleeve so a bunch of us took the main premise of his sleeve and did a tribute.

I have an idea of what I want done, a back piece that comes up over my shoulders that rolls into my daughters names across my chest, then 2 half sleeves. There is a crew local to me that does some awesome work and my wife would like to pay for the majority of it, I just gotta get the balls and time to start the process.

walter - i got mine done at broadway tattoo in south amboy - by spencer (he has done both of mine) - is this the place you're talking about? they do fine work - great artists and a comfortable / fun environment in there

only negative about tattoos for me is cost - but hey - what are you gonna do🙂

some folks love getting it done - say it feels good / exhilarating, etc - i myself never found it to feel good per se - sometimes it hurt - and sometimes it reallllllly hurt - 4 -5 hours seem to be my threshold though of when i get too sore for more

my plan eventually is to sleeve both lower legs more or less - but it'll be a money thing to see how fast that happens 🙂

if you go to broadway - i def rec spence - good fella - good work

yup, thats the place. AJ has been working on a friend of mine for a few months now, and I have seen a lot of good stuff come out of there from the other folks(yours included, btw).

Spencer was originally from Fat Cat, correct? If so, he has a pretty impressive portfolio.

Broadway has been one of the few shops I have been researching that has been consistantly putting out good stuff, I really gotta take a walk over there.🙂

I have 4 tattoos...no photos.

They represent different times in my life...snowflake (I was a competitive skier in high school/college)..."determination" in Thai (I spent a month trekking aroumd Thailand)...a ladybug (good luck)...and a chainring (duh).

I enjoy seeing others tattoos and hearing the story behind it.

I have a tribute to a friend who has passed on my inner / lower leg....i got it done in new hope during college...

yeah they all do good work and the place is usually hoppin too - the folks are cool and funny - which is important if you're gonna been sittin in discomfort for several hours

i think spencer mentioned fat cat but i could be wrong - i think he is pretty happy there and i hope he sticks around as plenty of work for him coming from me in the future

hope you get over there soon walter - if you sit with spencer - tell him jason with the tiki says hi
