Strictly METAL

In new album news, has anyone got the new Fear Factory and Cannibal Corpse.

The new Fear Factory is awesome. It sounds a lot like the Demanufacture and Obsolete kind of stuff.

And the new Cannibal Corpse is awesome as well, but I haven't been able to listen to that enough to give a thorough review.

In concert news, Cannibal Corpse and Between the Buried and Me (and a bunch of others) are playing the Summer Slaughter tour. It'll be at Starland Ballroom on August 7th.
I will be attending that show.

Gee...wonder where elzoller could be right now???

U know me too well. Great show as always. Lots of Pyro and new Props! :getsome:

a bit disappointing as they didn't play Infinite Dreams or Hallowed be thy Name.

But nice to hear The Prisoner and Phantom!

Queensryche

Recently dug out Rage for Order CD. Queensryche was awesome in their prime. Operation Mindcrime, Rage for Order and Empire were classics. They were great live. Their most recent stuff I just can't get into.

Queensryche of old was incredible.
Queensryche of new is awful.
They should be ashamed to even put the Queensryche name on the new stuff.

I bought (yes bought) the new Dying Fetus cd (yes, cd) last week. Popped it in for my car ride to my bike ride and like 18 seconds into it I had a wonderful smile. Its good, maybe one of their best to date. It makes me happy.

Nice. I've listened to Dying Fetus a bit over the last couple years, but kind of lost track of them recently.
Glad to hear they're still putting out good stuff.

As usual, right on the money.

Though for me, I was already losing interest by Mindcrime. I absolutely could not get on board with the way that album was recorded. The s/t ep and The Warning were amazing stuff, and I thought they were really pushing boundaries, in a good way, with Rage For Order.

Public service announcement: Sick Of It All, Ensign, and Born Annoying at the Asbury Lanes, Friday September 28. Gonna be a sweaty night.😀

EZO Anyone

Does anyone remember the Japanese band EZO? They were pretty good. Kind of obscure though.
