Yeah, those skeeters are no joke out there with all of the recent rain.but the mosquitoes proved too much.
Count me in if you need a helper to tackle this. Here's some shots of the beaver pond bridge over at the "Land of the lost" when it was installed, courtesy of AllamuchyJoe. I don't think there's a permanent solution to eliminate the beaver dam without dynamite or heavy machinery. Raising the height of the bridge is the way to go. Would require a work crew to drag materials in, build the higher support structure, and lift it. And whack together some approach/exit ramps.
Willing to lend a hand as well. At least there’s nearby access off Lozier road or old Waterloo road to bring in materials. Here's some shots of the beaver pond bridge over at the "Land of the lost" when it was installed, courtesy of AllamuchyJoe. I would think it might be just easier to just put a 2nd one on top of the existing one, no? Or does it need to be higher more than height of the new planks?Any thoughts on how much the bridge needs to be lifted?
Spicy. Looks like the compression is on the bottom side of this one. Plus a little side load.Three down I caught on my ride this AM.
