chris if you're riding your ss then race ss open with 32X18/19 depending on your fitness level in nov. it's a mass start with friendly terrain. think of it as a very long ride so pick a comfortable pace and enjoy. you have all summer to get ready, just remember to gradually increase your training level so your body and mind have time to adapt.

Best part about timed events is that you can't NOT finish! Everyone always talk about this event... The drive home is the only reason I never sign up 😛

The drive OUT is no picnic, either -- I sat in three hours of traffic on the LIE the night before last November.

That said, definitely coming back again. This race is awesome!
