Shoes?

Just a quick update got my shoes and pedals last night thanks to J. He instructed me on how to get in and out and we surprised at how easy it was to clip in and out. Noticed a big difference riding around the parking lot there and around the neighborhood last night some. Next have to take them out on the trails for my "slow-mo" fall initiation, but looking forward to it.

As i am sure you have heard, its a rite of passage... you will fall, you will feel stupid, you will get up and then fall again.. 😀

after a short while, you will be clipping out fast enough to catch yourself 99% of the time....That other 1% of the time, it wouldn't make a difference anyway cause those are the spills that happen regardless if you can clip out or not.

You forgot the intermediate time period when your body knows how to clip out in time but your mind doesn;t yet believe it, and you find yourself during the slow-motion part of the fall thinking 10 times that you still have time to unclip, still don't do it, and fall. THey hurt the pride the most. Shortly after though, it becomes automatic....mostly 😀

or the "clipped out my right foot and its down and im just hanging out and i lean slightly to the left and and i realize my left foot is still clipped in and i just fell even though i wasnt moving" moments.

Yah can't wait to have all the fun of these falls!! I ended up with the Shimano SPD M182 Shoes and the Shimano PD-M324 pedals. Can't wait to get them out on the trail.
