Post your BooBoo's

i'm sure your tetanus shot is up-to-date.....i doubt it is long enough to do any damage.

(Also, it has a BOA closure. How effing cool is that?)

A few years back I raced Rattling 50. My family was headed to Maine for a 2 week vacation so the plan was for me to drive from NJ out to Rattling and then straight to Maine after the race to meet them on the beach. I was having a great day on the bike and with less than 3 miles to go I clipped a small stump hidden in the low underbrush. It didn't seem like much so I kept rolling along, finished the race, collected my winnings and jumped into the car for a 12 hour drive. I arrived at the beach just in time to make coffee and set the chairs ups on the beach the following morning. I noticed that my shin was still bleeding and was pretty swollen though I figured a few hours in the frigid Atlantic Ocean would work miracles. It did and I pretty much carried on as though nothing happened. Fast forward 3 weeks later, we are home and I'm getting ready to go for a ride when I noticed the wound was a bit lumpy so I poked at it with a 6 penny finish nail, low and and behold the scab explodes open and a 3/4" piece of twig comes rising up and out of my leg like it was on hydraulics. Gross as hell but pretty frigin cool. My wife instantly named me Mr. Immunology Man.

Yikes!!!

That does not look at all cool. Are you prone to heavy duty bruising?
No, I really never bruise. Not like this. This is the worse bruise I ever got. The handlebars got me really good.

Yes, fidodie on my new bike. What's worse is that I was going a top speed of like 3 mph. it's pretty radical bruise for such a slow speed.

MadisonDan, it's being ice as I type.
