i tore my ankle apart with ligament tears on both side of my ankle, bruised to my nuts 3 years ago. I was on a road bike the next day pushing my foot out of the clipless pedal for months. I couldn't walk without a boot but i could pedal. Put some flats on and keep moving.

See my earilier post, I got a nice little bruise last sat. It finally started feeling better on weds. Walking is not bad now. I plan on riding tomorrow. Sitting is not bad today. Motrin was/is my friend.

Ankle and shin are the last things to heal, slowly but it's getting better.
