Post your BooBoo's

I know some of you don't like to be told what to do in terms of the helmet issue (al415 cough cough) and maybe I was the dumbass for missing the bars, but strange things do happen

So, just to be sure I've got this right; the Fred that rides in traffic with no hands on the handlebars is telling me to wear a helmet?

Not quite up to snuff with some of the other posts on here, but this is how i managed to top off todays ride in the last mile. Just slightly off while trying to get between 2 close trees bordering the trail. I landed on my feet and the chainrings landed in my leg...oww:cry:

i totally missed this. Jimmy, weird shit happens, but why did you have both hands off to take a drink. You are quickly moving to the top of the "Most crashes in a year from simply riding along" list.

new bike flipped me. broke my radial cap. had some surgery to clean it up and i am on the mend. they dont call them Suicide brakes for nothing.:getsome:

No pic but

Broken ribs, broken pinkie toe (don't ask) plenty of bruised/scrapped shins, arms and a cut 1/16" from my eyeball. I was close to being a one-eyed MTB'er on that one. The best is my wifes comments everytime I go out for a ride. "Just make sure the life insurance is paid up." Ain't love grand.

Oh yeah

sliced the tip of my pointer finger off too. Don't know how I could have forgot that one.

Good to hear you are on the mend!!! Your bike collection is something other than ordinary for sure!!! I like it... A bit off topic but your house looks like the one I lived in during my Flemington stint... Obviously way too ironic to be but just sayin

I wasn't really paying attention at the time, hence missing the bars .. I'm pretty sure I had one hand on the bar when I was drinking. Then I put the bottle away. Then I probably was riding no handed for like 2 seconds and then missed the bars going down.

here you go two weeks later and one surgery.

here's a couple of my older ones.. this season has been pretty good to me so far!
last year.. not so much...
torn lateral deltoid, endo over the bars at Raystown, and disc brake gnar (also at Raystown)... took 6 months from cut to heal.. nail finally fell off around month 3 and grew back..
I also have about 4 chain ring tats on my right leg.. pics of them are lame tho.. I'll get a good one on the next go round
