The intriguing thing is on Pete's pic you can see where the blade went - I think we are missing the props that are necessary to Pete for flawless saw handling - seems fairly straight. My Dad did something like this to three fingers on a table saw last summer. Seems like a right of passage to the sawing class.

That is one insane gash! Glad it was just a pedal attack instead of the initial report at the back of the line that your bones were sticking out of your leg! I'm glad I was far enough away not to see that live and in person or it could have gotten messy 😱. Heal up fast!!
