Why the hell didn''t you tell me you where going to be in my neighborhood? I ended up doing a road ride with my buddy Mark on the other side of the state. I would have riddin' locally had I known you guys where going to be around.

Hope you're enjoying yourselves. It's a fantastic day!

Tony's SB to New Hope Loop
Woke up late on Saturday and stole Tony's GPS file to Lambertville. We (Mandi, Bill and Lisa) rolled out and just took a scenic route. It was fun to not really know where we were going. We got into town and grabbed a bite to eat. Legs felt good 53 miles later.

Blue
I'm going to piss off a lot of readers after this sentence, possibly loose some fans, but what can you do:

Blue is the same day as the NYC Century that we planned on doing, a year ago.Sorry Joe, you won't get to see me die at Blue. You will have your chance at Jungle/Ringwood. I hope that not racing is going to hurt me by the time these last two come along. I don't really do much training, just ride. Hopefully I will be out enough to keep fit.

My plan is to do the whole series next year.

Have a lot of interesting things going on, this is going to be a long week of waiting.

My job is sending me to Chicago the 8th-13th so I'm not doing Blue either. Besides JH, RW and the 6hr will round out the year nice...you should look at the 6hr jump off

Sorry Joe, you won't get to see me die at Blue.

This is too bad because I so wanted to see this. At the pace that the NYC Century goes, you should be able to finish Blue, drive down then finish the century

What route did you take to lambertville?

BTW, get a garmin so you can post the routes 😀

PS-BTW, I am so not reading this anymore since you aren't doing a race 🙄

NYC century? Why dont you just pedal your road bike on the trainer while watching all six hours of Live with Regis and Kelly instead?

Your going to miss out on some awful and misreable pain at blue....but Jungle on a SS should suck just as bad.....Hopefully it pours like last year....wouldnt want you to get spoiled 🙂

Did you decide if you're going to do it cat2? or cat3? ss or geared?
This year I will do my age group.

We stole Smokin' Tony's:

Great, another fan lost. PS I also need your email for the Fantasy league. Your the last person I'm waiting on.

Martin, I made the decision for him. He's racing Cat2 SS. I am also done reading this thread unless some gnar gets posted soon

I have been pretty gnarless, you are correct. Is that why the followers have dwindled away? Everyone relies on me for epicness?

It was such a good event last year I wanted to do the century this year. I still have yet to do a real century. Watching Regis would be a plus.

That race in the rain last year was my first race. I didn't think it was so bad. I did OTB a couple of times. I never OTB.

I think I was 7/12 or something.

You should always race your age group. SS class is for wimps.

I'm still a fan.

Like Pearl said we used Tony's route. I had my GPS going but it flaked at the end and I lost it. Tony's times are much more impressive anyway🙄
