Patch Kit, or Spare?

Hey Guys!

I carry a spare tube and a hand pump (currently setup tubeless). I usually do not carry CO2, but if it were a competitive situation I would.
 
Thanks Jim and John. I will check out the Birzman stuff. Thinking of a CO2 compatible HV pump from them or Lezyne. Old people don't like being inactive in the cold for very long.🙂

I am hoping to also go tubeless but I am not sure how sucessful I will be with the Weinmann rims. Supposedly the majority of Weinmann users that have sucess use the split tube method. Time will tell

I've found the best thing to do is ride with someone that carries all this stuff so I don't have to. On solo rides that put me 10 plus miles from the car I will bring a tube.

did this last week, and sure enough - i became "that guy"
 
FTR, anyone that rides with me and doesn't carry gear gets left in the woods if they have an issue. I spend all day long fixing people's bikes so I don't do it when I'm riding.

Gotta love those guys who are too cool to wear a Camelbak or have a seatbag on the bike. My favorite: the guy who showed up for a night ride with no lights because "everyone else has them".
 
Or the,

"Hey, you work in a shop, right? Do you mind going through my gears (brakes, wheels, squeak, etc) real quick? I would, but I am sure you can get it done much faster"
 
I don't get that so much from the mountain bikers. On road rides though, OMG. I pretty much stopped doing any organized road rides because everyone wants to know why their bike creaks 🙄
 
I have a patch kit, tube and Lezyne HV mini floor pump. Love that pump. Still about 50 strokes but ezay peezy to use.
