Did you race the Turner? Awesome job out there. You make us proud! Thank you!Sounds like you had the most fun out of anyone today.
No, Jordan is faster than me and received a well deserved 1st. But a cross country bike would come in handy at Stewart ?Did you race the Turner? Awesome job out there. You make us proud! Thank you!
Btw... If you gotten the RDO... you would have taken 1st! 😛

Nice job out there. Too bad you didn't listen to my advice or you would have gotten first.
True. But my advice was first place is overrated. Second is where it’s at.
You as well. Thanks for putting on such a great event. Everyone was very supportive.
I’ve got a case of @BPaze-itis, the brand new rear brake hose is too short and couldn't source it locally (I wouldn’t think that keeping a couple spares would kill the store too much) so the Fug will have to wait to make her social debut.
...so much for 'standards'! The crank spindle has at least 4mm side play even though I installed the 134.5mm one, I guess either Race Face or Hope forgot (or didn't care) to check the standard (if there's one that is). Anyway, now in addition to the brake hose I am waiting for spacers. Bike looks awesome but it's no sub 24 lbs RDO...still need to cut the steering tube and install the chain then it's done.
I finally found a photo of Walt taken during his 200km ride. That’s a @liong71er type ride. Congrats.Wind was not an issue for me except for the occasional 40mph gusts. Rode the Bruce Gordon with the Alex Adventure2 on XTR hubs I recently built
Or the manufacturer of the frame.
Is there a trail mgmt team for RW?My understanding is that HM is part of the NYNJ Trail Conference but may be a Jorba park soon.
On the other hand, the white trail at Ringwood has taken a major beating very recently and is going to need some love.
Thanks for the invite cant make it.I think a few of us are going to Ride Hartshorne this Wendnesday at 5:00pm starting from the Buttermilk Valley lot on Navesink Ave. Come join us if you can.

Yes, I believe @pixychick. Ellen, are you and Art still the Jorba reps for Ringwood? Is there a trail mgmt team for RW?

Actually that was my first thought, so I measured the BB shell and it's exactly 73mm, apparently Knolly is better at sizing frames than estimate delivery dates. It appears to be a known problem with Hope 30mm external cups, you can either use the BB spacers to go between the cups and the shell (they provide 3 in case the BB is 68mm, but I didn't want to go that way because it would take any later adjustment from the crank) or add spacers between the crank and the bearings. I'm going the second route so I have better chances at setting a proper chain line. Obviously the Race Face documentation does not refer to Hope BB in any way.
All because Super Boost+!
