OOS MOGA

okay back to ride stuff
I'm likely gone from July 27th to Aug 19th, will get you folks started, but your job to execute
Here's an update with Saturday and Sunday options. Post up if you can lead and coordinate. I'm out this weekend as I'll be in MCBP and have chores to do the rest of the weekend.
Also starting in September, I'm considering a gravel series.

June 23/24: Tourne (Saturday leader @arangov3)
June 30/July 1: Lewis Morris (ride leader @Mr. E Man ?)
July 4: Deer Park (special birth of our nation ride)
July 7/8: Chimney Rock (ride leader @Kangdoy ?)
July 14/15: Kittatinny Valley (never been, beginner trails but could use a guide)
July 21/22: Sourlands (guest guides either @rick81721 or @fidodie ?)
July 28/29: Mahlon Dickerson (I'm gone, so you find a guide, think I mean the WMA or mine)
Aug 4/5: Stephens (just keeping this on the calendar, but @ReggieHammond will provide real date)
Aug 11/12: Wildcat (@JimN wants to show you his backyard)
Aug 18/19: Jungle (@Mr.Moto know this place well, also the get well soon ride for Eric)
Aug 25/26: Clayton (haha, just a bone for you southerners, sucks you have to drive so far north every weekend)
Sept 1/2: Wawayanda (this is the one park I want to put in the bucket this year or Ringwood, @huffster mentioned potentially able to lead)
Sept 8/9: Allaire (finally willing to take the GSP South below Perth Amboy, local guide needed)

again this is just to put a pin for each weekend, everything is negotiable or debatable. Got something better in mind, don't whine, be the solution.

July 21/22 should work for me

lol I'm leading a ride, this will be a follow the leader ride, make the intersection first you pick the turn. In all seriousness I'm gonna map this out and make the climbs as nice as possible.

Are you going to end or start with the ride to the top of the tourne?

That climb to top of Tourne is the best post ride. When you get to the top you feel so good about yourself. And also the descending, dicey.

Going down the back side use to be better all that gravel has made a mess of things I remember when it was all dirt, does this mean I'm getting old? "Back in my day going down the Tourne was as steep as going up"

Got my new rear, hoping to put the tire on tonight and mount it and go for a ride tomorrow night as long as the wife approved. Thinking Tourne, let me know if anyone else is interested in joining.
Try Lew Mo with the Marty's group ride. It's a no drop ride on the race course. 1 slow lap, then they will do a race pace. You can do either or both. 6pm sunrise lake lot.

No bueno... Do you use degreaser soap after rides? I've heard they work wonders.
Go get prednisone, now

Ironically I had my skin cancer screening at work yesterday, doc said it looked okay and probably didn't need meds
But this morning big blisters and oozy, going back down to the clinic today, might need a prescription after all.

I soaped the a crap out of the area, but forgot to use dish soap, I thought it was just a little inflamed from the scratches and was concerned more with the right arm when I remember leaning on it a few times on trees. I think I actually got it at CR, and not 6MR during the fall. Going to head over today to find my water bottle and look for signs of the nemesis.

The nurse recommended to use this laundry soap, for the clothes, need to order some today. Also good for topical skin applications.

So, what's the roll call for Tourne this weekend? Who's going on Saturday or Sunday?
If this happens on Sunday, I am in as long as weather cooperates.
If this is on Saturday, I wont be able to make it as I have a friend coming from LA and I have to play tour guide 🙁
