OOS MOGA

Come on out dude @Mtbdog, can tell you I was worthless our first ride but within a week I improved a lot(I feel lol). I am most likely in the worst shape here being at 240ish I put on more weight then my wife when we had a kid and kept it lol so this is one of the ways I'm trying to get back in shape.

Worst shape out of all of us? Didn't look like it at the beginning of Sunday's ride. You were moving!

fattest? lol, I was just following the pace ahead of me I have @Mtbdog to thank since, he really has elevated my biking. I think I was out of breath maybe twice that whole ride yesterday. Out side of my fall and dropping my chain I thought I was keeping up
IMO, 6MR is not as easy as ppl say. If you cant find the flow, it will run you down because you are constantly pedaling. But if you find the flow and hit certain spots at the right speed, its just a boat load of fun. Sometimes, following a faster rider is easier than following a slower rider.

we need a third group for those of us who are going to go over the handle bars :|
Hey, That's my group, if anyone finds a Price Point water bottle at the big log pile at chimney Rock red trail it's mine. That's where I yard saled it last Friday

I actually have trouble following, my eyes end up tracking the wheel in front and I can't ride a bike. It's either out front or rear to avoid the hypothetic spell

Alright I'm going to come out and give it a shot. My son is graduating this weekend d so might not be able to make this one but I'll be out when I can.
Yes, join when you can. We are really out of shape and not out of shape but we used to race types. I was always slow, got a little faster then slower again, let's get a little faster together...

that involves money lol I spent the whole ride on my large chain ring yesterday till the end I might just go 1x10 and get a slightly smaller ring

You can go 1x12 with the new GX Eagle!!!!! Only $375 and don't need a new rear hub

Yeah... me too. I have a bad habit of look at the rear wheel. Still
11-36 24-36 in the front
If you want to go cheap, you can buy really cheap 32T N/W chainring for about $5 from China.
You can buy a chain guide to keep the chain from dropping and keep your current RD and shifter
Would need a wide range cassette which you would pick up for about $50?
Only other thing you may or may not need is a goatlink.

My Talon has a clutch RD but even with it on the off position, I have dropped the chain only once or twice.
