Walk it! lol
better leave at 4am then so you got the extra time for the walk!
Walk it! lol
As an alternative.... anyone from NNJ wants to ride down to 6MR? and someone can drive us back up?
From my house, will need to leave at 4:30AM cuz its about 45miles. It seems mostly flat. Google maps says 768ft up and 922ft down. Over 45miles, that's nothing IMO.
Nope.... I was just thinking of having google maps direct the way.Do you have a route planned? From Ringwood to Wayne it's pretty much downhill, the only issue could be wiping out the threads on the brand new minions...right now only the Fug is rideable (I mean comfortable to ride).

I wanted to do a ride b4 the NICA work but it seemed unlikely due to the wetness.
But is this something you would be interested in?
If this happens, I will prolly ride my Crux and if needed, you can ride my Talon to save the tires on your Fug
Or you can ride my Crux and I can ride the Talon.... doesn't really matter to me which bike I ride
The Jacques lane lot is a better meeting place. That's where we will be working.OOS NICA Crew
So are we meeting at Canal lot? Anyone wants to meet early and get a little ride in before we start work?
I am not planning on drinking Friday nite so I should be good.
Cool! Let's do it!Actually thinking of it I could ride my other K2 with v-brakes...I generally don't like using other people's stuff. But thanks. And yes, why not? As long as it's not a never ending uphill slope I think I can do it...
Cool! Let's do it!
Maybe you should drive to my place and ride from there?
@Mtbdog
Can we ask you to drive me and Leo back up?
I can cover gas.
The work is not gonna kill ya, so I think it's doable. Many hands make light work, or something to that effect. In my opinion it's easier then cutting the lawn. It's been wet as of late so hammering stakes in the ground will be easy with the softer ground conditions. Not for nothing but you two realize that we're going to be working at 9? If you will have enough energy after riding 45 miles to keep up with the commitment then have at it but I figured I would at least mention it since this is for NICA.

Did anyone watch the instructional video?
45 miles on relatively flat road is not difficult. Your butt and shoulder might hurt a bit but would prolly feel better working them with movement. Not for nothing but you two realize that we're going to be working at 9? Did you have to say fire? I could see it now, Max with a big ole stake sticking thru his foot!I'm bring a gun powder nail gun I'll just glue the stakes to the 22 and fire away
No doubt you can do it. Is that 45 miles via RT. 287 or is that the back hi-ways you'll actually be riding? Instead of gas can I request brownies(gonna be hungry after a day of workin' and ridin')? Homemade? Thanks. You'll have to fight it out for the one seat though.45 miles on relatively flat road is not difficult. I have done this mileage with a heck of a lot more climbing and I was pretty functional the rest of the day.
The only question is if Walt is gonna do a preride? lol
