OOS MOGA

JUNGLE HABITAT SUNDAY 9am GROUP RIDE:

If someone plans on attending, please join the event on Strava. If you plan on not attending, please take your name off the Strava event.

Wheels start rolling at 9am.

Tempo pace, technical, rocky, possibility in certain spots slippery terrain. Not a hammer ride, but large group so will try to keep moving when possible. With that being said, look forward to seeing everyone.

Hmm. May be able to join in on this. I'm not on Strava. Guess I'll need to join.

Good video... I think @Mr.Moto is in it. I know he is in the RW one.

If I remember correctly I'm barely in it. I'm not as skilled as my buddy or Seth so you will not see me jumping off or onto anything. The weather was not great that day and rocks were a bit slick too. One thing I wished I had the camera on for was Seth getting a running start and being able to jump onto the tank from the end.

I want to try hopping onto the tank once I get a dropper post. I blame all of riding flaws on a lack of a dropper

The rocks are where you need clipless the most. No slippage, slippage is bad.
Ok you sold me on it. That's what my gut is telling me anyway. I can unclip with no problems at this point and I really appreciate the benefits of being attached to the bike.

The last 2 times I went back to flats I actually didn't clean a couple climbs that I now routinely clean when clipped in. I've even crashed a couple times and managed to unclip just fine.

I went from clipless to flats once I started to really get into riding rockier trails. I went back to clipless after two years because I got tired of not being able to hop over big logs. Cheating with clipless pedals is way easier than learning how to lift the back of the bike properly. My shins also took quite a beating.

@I. Victor
If I’m able to make it I will gladly lead a part of group or sweep or whatever. I know it very well. I haven’t confirmed yet but will click Strava once I do. I’d say I’m 75% in at this point
