Headed towards Califon. Took Philhower Ave. continuing to Frog Hollow and saw where it intersects with Toad Hill and Beavers Rd.
I was Surprised to see two guys cutting their dormant lawns at 31°F in early February.
Edited to correct date.

Next time to Clayton I'm hoping to finally break top 10 on the climb with my fatty. Only 4 sec from my PR today and 7 sec from tying Chris. I'm sure I'll hear him cheering on during my next attempt.

woke up early, kid's been sick, he's waking me up multiples times a night lately. oh well, get him situated and off to the trailhead I did go.
I knew Mike and Mike were 8am-ers, so hit red>orange>red for bonus frozen deliciousness before they showed. then we hit the full chimichanga. for some reason mike1 doesn't like white so it's not in our usual rotation. today I forced the issue and he was glad I did. Nice morning!
You could see huge sludge potential with the massive frozen rut-rohs; as soon as the sun and/or some temps hit the trails it will be back to oozma kappa.
