I'm not here for the waffles. Bring on da first half prize.

Yes I do need to declare the winner of month 1, since that passed like 2 weeks ago. I just need to check my excel math, but I'm pretty sure I know who's getting the socks.

I probably should have figured out the monthly break points at the start of BIYF, but I suck so I didn't. Based on the number of days I'm going to cut it up like this:

Dec-Jan: 12/19 to 1/17
Jan-Feb: 1/18-2/16

That's 30 days each, which leaves 31 more days at the end to duke it out for the overall winner's spot.

With that in mind the Dec-Jan winner is @w_b with 84.68 points. Congrats on your new pair of socks!

@thegock was runner up with 71.69. I should note that he's currently leading the Jan-Feb spot.

I admit I spent many a long lunch at the SSG. Used to be $1 domestic mugs, oh boy. Showing my age. Food was always surprisingly good too. Close enough but not too far. Baby you know where you are.

SSG is 2 miles from home, but I never made it there before the fire. Hopefully I'll get there once they re-open.

I've been pretty lazy this week and have finally crawled out of bed to ride this am.

2/2/17: Did my usual railtrail ride down to Newton and back. It's kinda appropriate that today is Groundhog day as this is same loop I do during my early am rides. Can't wait for warmer weather to mix it up on the road a bit. I was able to finally snap a picture worthy of the weekly points. It was still dark so I had to get up close to ensure it came out clear.

Distance: 20.4 miles
Moving Time: 1:40:55

After like almost 2 weeks off the bike, I am back on it. Lucky for me the bottom half of this group is the slackers group, so my ranking hasn't dropped too much. However; the leaders are now nowhere in sight.

Alaire was nice.

That being said, I got like a million projects done the last 2 weeks at home.

That was yesturday. Today's ride 1 hr 20 mins. Windy with a bonus picture of rushing water. I don't remember seeing a parameter on the volume of rushing water. Here's a picture of the tide coming in off the Henry hudson trail. Bonus is a little whirl pool.

The re-electrifimication project by the GSP has really mucked up our dropin into the back off the Edgar Felix . I was stymied there last time, hikeabiking, so tonight (I mean this late late afternoon) we just went in thru the WMA off Ramshorn. We gotta clear out that fenceline so it's rideable to the connector.
