Had a late night and therefore a late morning. It was mid afternoon by the time I was able to get going, so I grabbed my lights and headed to Wildcat with no real plan. I ran into @dmkalemba and showed him the newish Oreland Trail and put a pretty good loop together for myself. Man, I've been loving this weather!

FYI for those of you trying to visit Bear Mountain on your bike,if you rode starting from route NY17 or Seven Lakes Dr when you reached the circle by PIP or Route 6 DOT has Put up a new sign NO BIKE by that circle

How is the setup different from the stock setup?

I shortened the travel on the fork down to 100mm, slammed stem, flat bar, no dropper.

Nice. Gonna lower the stem one or two spacers, and take the dropper out. I'll leave the travel for now.

Exploring locally; seeing what's at the ends of dead ends, powerlines, Turnpikes, you name it. Looking for those fight club connectors to new areas I have yet to explore.

1/1/17: Gave a tour of Allamuchy North on this day of headaches and upset stomachs. Kept the loop to reasonable climbing and none of the juicy stuff. Trails were in perfect conditions. Great day out there.

Just an FYI, my 12/28 ride was recorded as 1:35;13 in the data sheet, but I only had 1:05:30 that day, bringing my actual total to 12.93 and moving @M3Tim and @ekuhn up a spot.

it's my understanding the bonus for the group ride requires the pic be taken beginning today 1/2 Monday up thru Sunday 1/8, correct? So, a pic taken yesterday would be no-go?

Trails were snowier than anticipated. Glad they weren't icy of full of icy-footprints.

I saw some cool architecture, but picture came out blurry, so I will look for something better.
