Movies Pearl Should See...

Not sure if someone had mentioned this already, but Flash Gordon.

On a serious note; Saving Private Ryan.

Pearl has made a great point to me privately....which is the why? We are all throwing out good movies, but we should add the "why should you see these Pearl"

So ill edit my list for pearl:

movies that pearl would like.

Pulp fiction - Sam L Jackson carries a wallet with "bad mother fucker" written on it..the dialogue is legendary, and Christopher Walken has to hide a watch in his ass for two years just so that he can give it to a young bruce willis.

Full Metal Jacket
R Lee Ermley is a real vietnam era drill instructor and really did all off that shit you are watching including smacking around the privates....Its where the term "me love you long time" comes from.

Spaceballs

Mel Brooks does star wars...really well. You will learn where "gone to plaid means" and "fat bearded bitch" come from

Seven

Its one of the darkest most twisted psychological movies you will see in terms of plot..Brad pitt screaming "WHATS IN THE BOX!!!!" After watching it, Kevin Spacey will scare you even if he is playing a disney cartoon voice.

animal house
Its a classic...john belushi is awesome and his name is Bluto. John Vernon playing "Dean Wormer" and his speech calling flounder "fat drunk and stupid"

Mallrats/Clerks/....usually once you see one Kevin Smith movie, you want to watch all of them. But mallrats is probably my favorite

Jason Lee is is awesome is mallrats and really i have never been a huge fan of him in other movies or TV shows...he never topped his work in Kevin's movies IMO. But Jay and Silent bob are just classic stuff, trust me. The NJ references are great. Watch it.

Caddyshack

Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Ted Knight...They were all good in many movies, but this was most classic of all. Bill Murray tries to kill a gofer with plastic explosives.

Ghostbusters...
Gate keeper and key master! There is no Dana, only Zuul! Cross the streams!!!

Silence of the Lambs
Classic. Somehow I think you say this so I won't explain.

Red Dragon
Prequel to SOTL. Actually, read the books.

Legends of the Fall
Epic tale of brotherhood / family. Bonus is that I think you get to see Brad Pitts ass and he scalps people in it.

The Rock
Sean Connery as the ultimate bad ass. Even if you don't like Cage (its one of his best movies), Connery and Ed Harris make this movie a must see.

Edit- I noticed that they play this on TV alot recently (TBS or TNT maybe?). Don't do yourself the disservice of watching an edited cut.

Good one - this lead to....

Hunt for Red October - modern twist to 'run silent, run deep' and 'mutiny on the bounty' - and it was the .......

combo of cat-n-mouse play in politics and war tactics, with the 'know your position' 'know yourself' 'know your enemy' mantra of Sun Tzu Art of War playing at many levels

I liked Crimson Tide, as well.

Saving Silverman

cause there is a whole lot of stupid packed into a short amount of time.

The Rock may be my favorite movie of all time. Admittedly, I know every line to that movie. Carla was the prom queen. :getsome:
