Ouch! What happened? From the past, to the future. This is now a fairly common repair. Full day's labor to swap a rear stay on a Levo.

Why does the fork have to come off as well?

Don't do that...come see me...I'm "less corporate" than I was at Efingers...Next one that comes in, I'm quitting and getting a job at McDonald's.
Sears ! what a great store, loved going there as a kid, they had everythingnot a mtb, but thread got me thinking about a bike I have talked about often, my first "real" bike as a kid. This was it, took some searching, even found a similar one for sale on ebay for $299 used to regularly put 30 miles in on this thing on the weekends. wonder I could have kids after that saddle....

I totally remember this.Tioga Psychos followed my Smokes because Tomac was cool and I liked replacing my tires every three weeks.
I had the same Ike and I remember really liking it. I unfortunately broke it and then another.Next up...1997 GT STS Thermoplastic custom...Retail was around $3,000-$3,500 for this thing...Rock Shox/Specialized Judy FX w/Carbon lowers, XT/XTR build, Early Shimano DX Pedals, Chris KIng/Club Roost cockpit area w/GO FAST crossbar...Rock Shox rear shock...it has seen lots of action!

Sticker in the lower left - it wasn't fake, just modified to my college roommate's last name (he spun the metal for our freestyle shows).Should I explain to him that his shifting sucks because you can't mix a Shemeng derailleur with a Shimado shifter?

I was probably there. The oval BMX track at Pete's Bike Shop is where is ran my first BMX race in 78
Ahh, Pete’s Bike shop track, good memories. I raced there probably every other weekend from late 70’s to mid 80’s during the season. Still often drive past the spot where the track was and it always brings me back! The oval BMX track at Pete's Bike Shop is where is ran my first BMX race in 78
This one is pretty neat. Could be for sale if anyone is stoked on it.Some cool bikes that showed up today....all added to the collection....One of my reps mentioned that the red Y3, without decals on it, could easily be mistaken for a current model Next bike from Target!
