Holy hell. I had 3 of those snap in half in 2 months. GT gave me 100% refund and a Ti Xizang frame as compensation. I have pics of it somewhere.

not a mtb, but thread got me thinking about a bike I have talked about often, my first "real" bike as a kid. This was it, took some searching, even found a similar one for sale on ebay for $299 used to regularly put 30 miles in on this thing on the weekends. wonder I could have kids after that saddle....

I had the same Ike and I remember really liking it. I unfortunately broke it and then another.

I would assume the one at Pop's is now the last one on earth. Once someone sits on it, it will disintegrate.

I know it's not a MTB...and it's not celeste....but another addition to the collection rolled in today.... Mid-late 80's Bianchi Veloce w/FULL Campagnolo Triomphe group, including seatpost and pedals...

Perfect timing for this sweet RestoMod project.

Cut apart the stock Campy wheel and relaced it to a White ENO.

Carbon fork, threadless conversion, modern Zipp Cockpit, Sram SS levers. Spot ring and guide donated from my personal collection.

Tried to keep it as close to stock looking.

The oval BMX track at Pete's Bike Shop is where is ran my first BMX race in 78
Ahh, Pete’s Bike shop track, good memories. I raced there probably every other weekend from late 70’s to mid 80’s during the season. Still often drive past the spot where the track was and it always brings me back!

Some cool bikes that showed up today....all added to the collection....One of my reps mentioned that the red Y3, without decals on it, could easily be mistaken for a current model Next bike from Target!

This one is pretty neat. Could be for sale if anyone is stoked on it.
