Haha, I love having a diesel powered rig in the driveway and the sound of the clack clack of the motor and I only need like 3 wires for it to run but I know what you mean. These guys are something else. Pirate has a whole thread on them:

Yeah Pirate is pretty hardcore. I posted about getting 35's (which is a decent size rubber IMO) on the Land Rover forum and those guys were acting like it was the most basic question and anything under 37 don't even blink an eye.

I don't have a D90 anymore. I sold it to get an '86 D110 from the UK. It has a 2.5 diesel in it now but will get a OM617 Merc turbo diesel when I rebuild it. Sometimes I DO hate it but for the most part I like it 🙂

HA! to them you may as well have asked what's the best spacer lift for a TJ. 37s are pretty big, especially around here. biggest i ever went on my jeep was 33 swamper TSLs which are some REDNECK tires.

i thought i remember you saying that. that makes me sad about the 90...but then i'm immediately happy for the diesel D110! man, the D90/110 is about the only vehicle i'd bail on my scrambler for. hell, i'd bail on both cars, a couple snowboards and a bike or two for one.
