I fashion my crown from Quetzlcoatl’s quills

Like a hydra. Lost almost all the riders.

Nice riding out there, people were definitely dropping like flies in that heat. Way to stick out the whole ride, my legs were screaming on that last climb.

I can't believe how unimpressive my strava file was on that ride. man my legs were getting cooked.
How about that Mitch dude, man he was RIPPING those downhills.

Yeah he was totally killing it. Can't imagine how he'll be ripping in another six months.

High Mountain really beats you up with those climbs, 10+ miles there is no joke. The only good trails you missed out on were the descent from the top that we turned back the other way on, one other shorter (but very tough loose/rocky) climb/descent, and an out and back trail to Steve's house. We can hit that stuff another time if you want to come back out. I ride there somewhat regularly and am free to ride pretty much any weekday after 4pm.

Nice. Perfect day for a ride and a swim. That is hands down my favorite lake for a dip.
Last time I swam there my wedding ring fell off. Fortunately the water is so clear I was able to find it. With the ducks' help of course.

Wondering if I can sneak up there tomorrow morning and still get chores done…

Is that a red belly turtle? @capers a little help?
It was deep yellow on the bottom, I don't know a red bellied. It was in the roadway, heading for the pond, but without assistance it never would have made it, so I stopped. I was thanked with a large wet spot down the front of me.
