I fashion my crown from Quetzlcoatl’s quills

I lost my squats partner a few weeks ago. I also found 10lbs which I can't shake. Though in the mirror I appear to be leaner than I even have been so I think it's just all in my ass.
Also, I feel the need to finally address the problem of that I actually have no legs or lungs. I can keep up with Pearl all day at Chimney Rock through pure power and skill but I'd get dropped like a rock at Lewmo.

could it be 10 pounds of muscle doe? you wear baggies so i cant check out your ass

I listen to JRE just about any time I'm doing house work, mowing the lawn, etc. Always makes the time go by that much easier.
It's incredible how many people do now. He said he picked up 2 million listeners in the last few months. That's crazy.
I started around episode 140ish I think? Not entirely sure. but I've listened to the entire backlog. Every single episode. He's at #660 now and almost every single one is 3 hours long.

Yeah it surely is, my hiking short shorts fit like f'ing daisy dukes now. But man is that new power in my legs from the squats and deadlifts useful.

Yeah I heard the 2 million new downloads, crazy! I started somewhere around 450 or 460, one of the first few episodes I listened to were Cara Santamaria and Amber Lyon around that time period. I've listened to most since then (usually skip the MMA guests, just not interested in that stuff) and there;s just too much stuff out there to go back and listen to old ones. I might go back and cherry pick some episodes with the usual cast (Duncan Trussle, Joey Diaz, etc)

Duncan might be my most favorite person in the world. He's seriously a magical character. I got the pleasure of seeing him live a few weeks ago and asking him a question. I melted. He's so awesome.
A lot of those MMA guest turn out to be great actually. Bas Ruten! What a cool guy!
I've listened to all of Chris Ryan's podcasts too, he's another great guy. I'm hesitant to tell others to listen to him because they will think strangely about my personal life 😉

It is more natural to mash than spin. I would just recommend somewhat paying attention to your cadence and being higher than your norm and eventually that will become your norm. If I had to pick one thing that made the biggest difference with my road riding, I would say higher cadence.

Higher cadence at same gearing or did you start out at easier gearing high cadence and then moved to harder gear?

The ultimate is if you can hold a high cadence in a hard gear, less taxing on your muscles and more reliance on cardio conditioning. Easier said that done. I don't focus on what gear I am
in, more if I can hold a 90 rpm cadence. For reference, on the flats I am around 100-110, sourlands climbs 90, steeper climbs 75-80. Everyone is different and it is very personal, these are just gauges
