So my 7 year old has really been having a great time on his bike and has shown a big uptick in interest in going out for rides lately. In fact, 3 of my rides this past week were with him. While I like nothing more than enjoying a ride with my little guy I needed to get the heart pumping a little... or a lot. After seeing the favorable trail conditions report from yesterday and also seeing yesterday's storms just barely graze Chimney Rock I formulated my plan. I rode to the park form my house in South Plainfield. I met up with @kbajaj at CR and we rode Orange, Yellow, Red, and upper Blue before working our way back over to yellow where I peeled off for the ride back home.

Time limited again today so hit the road early. Pretty mellow ride. We are both pretty beat right now.

I did not take a picture so here’s one from our hike yesterday.

Glad it's not just me. This may end up being my biggest riding month of all time by the end of it.

Should have known Creek would be swarmed today but I was still all jacked up from yesterday. Literally did one run and left. I can deal with lift lines but cannot deal with groups of newbs on every trail. https://strava.app.link/y2RcDY7k47

Wife was headed to her parents in Sparta so I hit up the WMA for some Blackmagic/Tigers Blood action. So much slippy sketchiness but some solo time in the woods was a good chance to do some bike tuning and fixed a few issues I’ve been ignoring. https://strava.app.link/ju32BlIl47

Now it’s pool time.
