results

results will be on darkhorse today. we usually put them up immediately but we have had requests for team affiliations to be added. we are working on that but it has set us back a bit....

thanks to everybody that came out and braved the not so stellar conditions! the sun eventually did come out but the trails were a little mucky to say the least!
glad everybody had fun and we look forward to seeing you all at the 40!

that was so muddy i thought it was over at touring but it got worse i cant get the mud out of my brakes the hole time it was like my brakes where being used but i was not pulling on them put what a race to remember :popcorn:


and a big thank u to #805 for help me make it up the hill i did not think i would make it after falling over the bars and on my nose but i pushed it and made it thanks #805

im glad i moved up in in to cat 2 it make me a better racer i was to fast for cat 3

First ever DNF in 3 years of racing. My mechanical discs were shot by the time I hit the bottom of Major Mikes. Tons of fun while I was out, though. My daughter's return to racing and took 1st. Said it was the best race ever!!
 
I was trying to figure out why my camera bag was so heavy as I was moving locations around and stuff all day. I figured it out when I got to work today and couldn't find my laptop. I left the freakin thing in the laptop slot of my camera backpack and rode around Stewarts with it. haha

I showed a friend some of these mud pictures and she was like wait, is that you? (It wasn't). She couldn't tell, we all look the same.
 
Incredibly fun race! I especially enjoyed the inflatable beach toys on the course. Still working on mud removal from the eyes... 🙂
 
Had so much fun in the mud! Thanks Darkhorse- you guys rock! I had lots of problems with my seat moving so that the front was all the way up. Finally, ended up using a big rock to smash the seat back down, since i forgot my tool. And my first experience with minor cramping, think i was dehydrated a bit. My chinese food 'to go lid' fender worked amazingly, until I fell on it on the last lap. Awesome experience!
