Going Long and Hard.

Back on the bike!!

Despite my body rebelling against me, the snowfall had me itching to ride and I hit the Hb MTB ride after work. We got like 2 inches or so. Just enough to cover everything and make it fun 😀

My body is still very tired, nothing is sore anymore though so I guess that's a good sign.

Luckily Chris has a coach now so he's not allowed to go fast anymore.

what time were u there last night? did u see my tracks, they were the fast ones. some of the climbs and off camber stuff were a little tricky.

We got into the woods around 7. We saw lights on the other side of the lake and plenty of tracks. I figured it was either you and Woody or Gili.

Word, you must have had followers then. We saw your tracks, they were super fast, plus some fat bike tracks alongside.

So, I have been dicking around this week waiting for some skin to grow back on my backside so I decided to finally take care of a bike project. Swapping my Guide brakes from the Camber to the Fatboy where they belong.

Also, being that nearly everyone was on HuDus at Tuscobia, I'm going to revisit them. Originally, I felt the Dillinger was a better tire and never looked back, even though they redesigned the HuDu. So I'm gonna give them another crack just to see. If nothing else they'll be perfect for Marty's race and FrozenFat if I end up buying a Spot tracker in time...

I've been super impressed with the wheels!! I think I've adequately tested them :getsome:

The bike will go back to SS in March-ish to get ready for SS-A-Palooza. After that it'll go back to gears and full speed ahead into IditaBike prep.

ive got a spot tracker if you need to borrow it. i dont have the tracking interval service.. just the send ok message and emergency rescue

werd, Jim owes me spokes for getting aaron to lend it out.
I work next to Aaron's wife, I can get it on the underground MTBNJ railroad as soon as he's done with it, Aaron you need it for ADK this weekend right?
