I am 99% sure the guy went to the local dumping pond and went magnet fishing, and came up with a bunch of these old "petals".
I didn't think I could find a more ridiculous Cadillac on Craigslist....I may have been wrong....Not bike related, but...as a Cadillac lover, I am personally offended by this abortion of a vehicle!

It’s actually a nice bike for a collector. These were used during the 90s for DH racing. Still, not sure it’s worth $1700.

Agree - very nice time capsule there. That was top level stuff for it's time. If I remember correctly that frame and fork wasn't cheap nor were the Magura brakes. He may not be too far off on his asking price for the condition. I sold a set of old MRC cranks on eBay last year for close to $400 which blew me away.
It is crazy what we used to ride and that one was a plush setup!
