Dropper post

Looked at Thomson and 9point8 for my Scalpel. Researched on-line reviews for several brands and narrowed it down to the those 2. Didn't feel like waiting 8 weeks for the 9point8. Went with the Thomson Covert. LBS had it ordered and installed in 3 days, just in time before a bike trip.

Fox Transfer then the Rockshox reverb updated. I think the KS customer service sucks but their droppers seem to hold up well..

If you were going to buy a dropper post now. What brand would it be?
My short list
1 9 point 8. 8 week back order
2 Fox transfer new model
3 rockshox reverb. Updated model

Add the specialized dropper. It's the best I've had out of a KS and reverb.

I like the reverb cause it's what I've been using with mostly no problem. And it pairs up so well with the match maker to my guide brakes. But It also has my least favorite remote design.

This post prob isn't even worth the 2cents.

if only specialized would make a zero offset dropper .
I do like the new fox dropper with the external cam mounted on the low side of the post

Lucky for me, I have long extremities so this is not an issue. That's a plus.
The negative is a higher center of gravity which makes things tougher
