Wharton is solid. The only water is on the short loop, just a few big puddles on the fire road section. Long loop is dry and fast.

The only problem today where those stupid overhanging pine branches slapping us in the face almost the entire ride. God that shit was annoying! Other than that, yeah the trails where in great shape. It's pretty obvious that Wharton receives a lot of love. And it is greatly appreciated.

Today was my first time visiting this place. I used to think Mercer was the flattest in New Jersey...But man this place is REALLY flat. Imagine the twisties in 6 Mile Run but 20 miles long with pine trees everywhere...very fun though. you can fly through here.

We keep clipping back those face slappers. But they keep growing back. Quickly. (The recent heavy snow made the problem worse.) A forestry staffer has nicknamed those face slapping sections *the drive thru car wash*. Just add soap and water and you'll get a clean all over scrubbing. 😀
