We also added a bit of a reroute slightly up the trail from this. Lots of good stuff happening today!

If anyone wants to come out and help Friday morning, please DM me.

Hey all.

I know you love the work we've been doing at CR. This Friday we are doing more work in a never-ending attempt to adjust for the massive storms we get these days. We plan to start at 9 so we're not asking for a super early day.

Anyone available?

Can't stop won't stop. Today we made some fixes on the trail that comes off the gravel lot at the ballfield.

After:

This is the new entrance to that:

Then we did an entirely different reroute on the high side of that tree with the really janky hard turn regardless of your direction. This should be hella way more fun now:

Thanks for the peoples who came out to help!

I will say it again. If you want to make a difference, you know where to find me.

We were expecting to run into you guys in Cromwell and somehow missed everyone. I’ve still never used that little connector trail out of the gravel lot.

Been a couple years since I have ridden here, and got a good and proper from @Kirt and @Glenn Rides After 4 PM CST (and Mike) this morning. All of the tread work, re-routes and water mitigation improvements were impressive...It was a blast to ride. Also the driest I have ever seen it. Very happy to have put all of the parts of the park together.
Only downside was the 90min drive in shore traffic home (normally 35min) 😉

Got taken out by one of the recent reroutes. JRA. @Kirt

The latest reroute at the bottom of the guardrail climb. My rear tire slipped on the loose rocks while climbing and went to dab. I was a bit too far left, so there is no more trail there. Just a 3 foot drop into the new drainage ditch filled with large rocks. Pulled groin when my leg hit bottom followed by fractured ulnar bracing the fall. Sitting at orthopedic doctor now waiting for a cast.

Te only positive was that I was wearing a hydration pack and I didn’t feel any of the rocks I landed on.

First broken bone since I was about seven years old.

That sucks bro. Heal up quick.

Did dawn patrol today. The trails were wet and slick but not muddy. Did maybe two hours before I picked up some debris and damaged a shift cable. Cleared some stuff but here’s stuff that couldn’t be cleared by me.

First pic is white. Second is the creek crossing at the bottom of the ball field frisbee golf section.

All the trees, except for the one on upper red with an unknown location, have been removed. If anyone comes across that one, please post up the spot. Or any others not mentioned.
I started to trim white again. Only got a few trails done but hoping to get back and finish around the pond within the next few days.
Still lots of storm debris down along with a lot of loose rock. Otherwise things are really good. Only downer is the storm washed over the top of the water crossing on blue again. We will need to come up with a new plan for that at some point.
