Chain Wax Discussion thread

Waxed 2 Shimano 12sp chains, 1 on the Pivot T429 with low miles and 1 backup, for TSE. Will report back. Weather looks good for the week, with only rain in the forecast on Thurs afternoon. It is damp around camp.
I'm a waxing convert. This is what the chain looked like after some mud during the Stage and just a hose washing then microfiber towel wipe.

The chain lubing tool arrived, had to test it out. The Silca drip wax does tend to flow easily onto the floor while lubing. This little lube dispensing device works, had to go two revolutions to get enough lube out of it, a little more of a squeeze of the bottle might help. Overall I'll give it a 8.5 out of 10.

My experience has been the same. I also use it with the Silca drip wax.
