yeah he loves those Zipp wheels. On hardtail party's last review he mentions a carbon wheelset that he like cause it's compliant
I rode Nox Composites on multiple HT‘s at 260 with zero issues. My SS still has ‘em. you’ll be fine. I’ve got moto’s on my FS… worth every penny. The HT I’m building up now has fusion fiber (Revel RW 30’s) rode them on the other frame for the last six month. Quite pleased with those as well. If you find them stiff, use a thicker casing tire in the rear and drop a couple PSI. standing more doesn’t hurt either 😉ive been looking at the Nobl wheels. im just about 180 lbs geared up. and Im looking for a lighter a little more compliant wheel.
Yup, I love those Zipp wheels too which is why I had them for sale here but decided to keep them. I had them on my Ti hardtail.yeah he loves those Zipp wheels.
I had to look them up. Pretty cool that someone is doing something new, or at least different. I already emailed them - no plans to make fat rims. The HT I’m building up now has fusion fiber (Revel RW 30’s) rode them on the other frame for the last six month.
. most likely I9 or Onyx hubs.
Also rolling on a set of Light Bicycle wheels on my hardtail and so far I'm quite pleased with them. I went with a custom configuration using the AM930S rims with the ribbed inner circumference and 240 hubs. They live up to the name at just a touch over 1400 grams and the ride is less harsh than the I9 Enduro (Alloy) wheelset I originally had on the bike. I can't compare them to the Zipp's obviously and would assume that the Zipp's are a better wheel. But if your budget is a bit lower they're worth considering.Got a pair of lightbicycle hoops on my SIR9 . Rides fine
I have Onyx hubs and chose them over i9 for the rolling resistance.
