They are apparently reliable and this had meticulous service records, and $4500 is expensive for 2 years of B2B coverage. He had already done a PPI and it was clean. No timing chain cover oil leak and the transer case was fine (and covered under an extended Porsche warranty).

After an hour of talking, I offered $35,500 straight up, no worry of the dealer getting involved. I felt that left a little buffer for future maintenance, possible repairs, etc, along with the $4500 staying in my pocket. It's probably worth near $40,000 non-CPO on the right day to the right buyer, but it was a WANT vehicle not a NEED vehicle for me. It had many options I would never order myself, that were cool but didn't really change the driving experience, so I was split on the purchase. It stickered at $89,100 in 2015 and a new one so equipped is $106,000. Which is pretty insane. He said he'd consider it but wanted a few days as he had lots of calls on it. An hour later it sold for full asking of $37,500.

New GT3 - like for na motor and 6M, but not a fan of those 4 led bug-eye headlights and that wing

I like the 4-eye DRLs but I'm not crazy about the swan-style wing. We'll see in production. Or you get the Touring package and eliminate the wing altogether. Not like it matters. I don't have a previous relationship of ordering GT cars from my Porsche dealer or $160,000.

It' probably about 6 months too late to see guys dumping their 991.2 GT3 cars into the market, too. Dilemma: Do I get the 718 GTS 4.0 now or just order an M2C and watch the GT3 market over the next few years.

Surprisingly, they are still not discounting the M2C at all (for factory orders). So that's $61,500. A GTS 4.0 is probably $93,000 the way I'd spec it (basically stripped: LED lights, Bose, extended leather dash/doors with contrast stitching).

certainly looks like a big block chevy....396, 427, 454, etc....I mean really hard to tell. Does have aluminum heads tho...certainly not stock

I'm confused - if they come out with a 718 gt4 rs, how different will that be from the 911 gt3? Looks like same motor (little less power), same tyranny, pretty much same price??
