Car-spotting thread

Not sure which model 3000GT this was but I think if it was twin turbo one the wheels would be nicer. I had to snap it quick while riding by l

Still like this car and especially this color blue.

Real easy way to tell if it's a VR4 (twin-turbo model) is if there's a square taillight under the wing. Plus yea it would probably have nicer wheels.

"First Class Fitment" at Princeton Airport. I happened to be out that way too. Tons of loud car with questionable suspension geometry.

Sort-of on topic, here's the '79 308 my friends and I bought a few months ago. We've settled on "F-bomb" for a name. Put Pertronix ignition in it, went through the carbs, new tie rod ends and steering rack bushings, throttle cable, waiting on one brake caliper rebuild. Cosmetically, it's a real mess but it's running pretty well.

As predicted, John (who's housing it) did 80% of the work. Everyone's gung-ho until reality (work, family) hits. He's growing tired of it. Keep an eye on http://www.bringatrailer.com!

call me!
my wife would kill me, but she should at least see it.

I wish i had some like minded friends who wants to get in a car ownership group. No F cars tho. Maintenance ?

Hey those cars from the Princeton airport show were still buzzing thru Hillsboro at 6:45 last evening - wifey and I were going to see It 2.

I never heard of a car ownership club until I was flying back from Chicago to Newark last week - the guy I was sitting next to was a fellow Eagles fan returning from the Green Bay game. After we finished talking about our beloved Eagles, he switched to cars and said he's in a club (he lives in NYC). Sounds pretty cool - he said they had a GT350 for a while but most of their cars are 60s-70s classics. Have to look into this in FL

Sorry @Patrick , you're an all around great guy but as an attorney...you suck!

once again, he misspoke - he was just in canada fishing, and was confused about the units.
this is reasonable. Also, rick's zip code is 81721, so that would be in the Ukraine, Certainly
a far bit from here. Perhaps Flemington, Belgium? well out of our local jurisdiction.

81721 is actually @thegock's birthday.

Nope, the perp provided precise indications on how fast and where this happened. You may have a slim chance because he didn't provide any indication of when this happened..it could be in the future or even in his dreams...

Our son needed a new used car so we decided to try carvana. Def much easier dealing with than local car dealers - did the whole deal on the computer in about an hour. Vending machine in philly - went for the entire experience. The fake Disney world sound effects are cheesy but overall I'd use them again:
