are you going with a solid color? if not send it like that and wet sand between coats

also what kind of sand paper are you using different types measure differently 400 of one media is 600 of another euro vs us measurements and so on...

I'm actually going to polish with meguiars 105 and then 405 to finish.

you're going to spray over that or are you doing that after clear? you'll need to clean of that off if you're going to spray

Sand... 105 and 205.
Wipe and clean with alocohol.
Spray and dry
Sand and 105 and 205

Because clear only works if you have a clean weave showing, that just looks messy, with the sanding not being flat and showing high and lows. I mean, the carbon is not exposed so that's ok.

Yep... you're right. No matter how much I sanded... I couldn't get the weaves to show and I didn't want to go too deep and eat into the resin.
But I kinda like that dirty glossy look. Looks f'ed up but its shinny. Maybe I just have some weird taste. lol

Did you use a sanding block? That would help.
