I believe you need to clear coat it once you’ve sanded it down and exposed the carbon.

Are you going to soak them in alcool for 24h before lacing the wheel? You know...

A family friend is some sort of a chemist at some cosmetics company... he made us a liter size of sanitizer... I'll be using that instead. 😛

Took apart the Talon frt wheel yesterday but i guess this is why you are not supposed to use gorilla tape.

Worked on a small section with lighter fluid. Worked better than goo gone.

Use more tape.
Stick it on and pull it back off it will take off the old residue.

Applying tape didnt work too well but the lighter fluid mostly did the job. It did leave some sticky residue but goo gone cleaned it up.
