Beautiful day with perfect conditions. Laughing with friends in the am, laughing with my son and his NICA team in the pm. Feeling very fortunate today for what biking has given me. Far cry from the 90s when I couldn’t find anyone to play with on MTBs. Making up for it now

Decided to trek out to the flight 6231 crash site with the good 'ole Ridgehog. I try to make it out there at least once every few years. Something is awfully eerie and surreal about being able to see and touch parts of a jet liner fuselage that crashed over 46 years ago. For years, hikers would collect the airliner parts when they were out hiking and put them all in one location. So this area turned into a make shift memorial. So stoked that they finally gave the incident its' due by getting the plaque and bench made at the location where all the parts were left.

Me pretty 🦋 says @rick81721 EFDI took my first selfie this morning. I'm in this for motivation but also for some fun/healthy competition, and seeing all the lost points started to bother me. It was dark, freezing cold, and I was thinking the same - there's no way a freaking selfie is worth the same as 1 hr of riding! @stb222 I'm not a haterbut also wish we could at least see the tally of the riding time - no prizes or anything.

Went out with the plush tires today, while I was cruising over in Readington, the PSEG powerline project was just too tempting.
They built a road out of timbers. Got home, hit the save button and was 1:43 short of the extra half point.
Rode around my yard on the fatbike - which I haven't fixed from the RV trip....
Between Three Bridges Road, and Clover Hill.

They are temporary crane mats. Provides reduced ground pressure in wet areas and allows access for the easement work. Come in all shapes and sizes.

Perfect winter conditions this morning at the Sourlands. Sun just started to get on one ten foot long spot on my way out, and only passed four hikers so I timed my escape from the trails really well. Stupid grippy and rolling fast.
