3.5 pts...3 separate rides...
as mentioned by everyone, thanks to
@stb222 for scorekeeping and half assed bonus allocations. also missed your video updates this year! regardless, sincere thanks for keeping up the leader board...as a long time fantasy football commissioner, i can only imagine how much of a pain in the arse that is!
also, as mentioned by many, i enjoyed meeting some new peeps, seeing where everyone is riding, and having something to keep me motivated through, what is always the toughest stretch of the year to stay motivated to keep riding. i especially enjoyed introducing some new folks to my local woods that has become my pandemic passion project! for anyone interested in riding the Edith Stevens/Tingley Woods, and if you're in the Edison area, feel free to hit me up! also check out the trails on
Trail Forks HERE...
as one of those who has no indoor riding options (by choice, don't cry for me mtbnj), the BIYF has been a great way for me each of the last several years to keep my fitness up in the winter, and to have TONS of fun. thanks to all for the constant flow of content, and jibber jabber.
here's how i wrapped up BIYF 2021 on what was an AWESOME day here in central NJ for march 21...
42 mile early am road ride with the Karma krew out of metuchen...winter pace for these guys is FAST. first time i rode my road bike (ie not gravel bike) since november 10...too fast for pictures

afternoon ride with my wife, her sister, and my bro-in law and nephew. super casual 6 mile cruise along the D&R...saw HUNDREDS of snakes and turtles coming out of their winter hibernation...also some humans doing the same thing!
thanks for riding with me today!

final ride of BIYF 2021...this is the time of year i'll start riding the ~1.5 miles to the local stop and shop for groceries...i suppose i could do it in the dead of winter, but...c'mon!...it's much nicer to do it when it's 60 degrees and sunny...
