Today I cleared the orange trail's blockage(s) referenced by the last set of pics in @MarioGed post just above, #542. Thanks for the excellent intel BTW. I operated from the RT517 parking lot and just swept that little peninsula. There were additional bonus blockages along the lower leg of it.
Without getting into too much detail, my left knee has been giving me a lot of problems recently. My knee is very angry with me today. I might need the other sawyers to keep on top of things till this situation sorts itself out. stay tuned.

I've got a rear rack and other stuff coming this week. Working on pannier bags to to carry stuff. I'll text you to get updated maps.
Yeah, there were few more obstacles on the orange switchback trail and few on the white trail, but they were somewhat easy to avoid or ride over so I did not stop to take pictures. I cleaned up a few spots that were doable by hand.

I got these two targets today, and a few other tune ups. The before/after pics corresponds to the blue circled waypoint (@Robin post #941). The knee not cooperating so I had to stand down on the others nearby...

Please be advised that I’ll be on a Chainsawing/Mt. biking hiatus for month or two. I’m having an orthoscopic knee procedure on Thursday Nov 13. Asking all the chainsaw fairies to step it up in my absence. For everyone else, do what you can with your hand saws. Thanks!!

Thanks. I should be able to start getting out again for trees next weekend...possibly after work this week. I rode around yesterday and today without the saw. Pulled a bunch of deadfalls off the trail. One pretty large but barely moveable one on cardiac bypass. Finding mostly a lot of broken off smaller ash and general debris
How can you even tell where Candy Ass IS, after some leaves fall?
True that. I had the advantage of being on a hike and able to closely watch trailforks on a phone. I still lost it a couple of times.

Left work early to try to get the last 45 min of daylight and see what i could do with the tree @FrankR reported on the road in to the tranquility trail head.
Progress made but round 1 goes to the tree. Those rounds were so friggin heavy my back convinced me to go immediately to buy beer. I ran out of daylight and didnt want to cut the massive part in the dark. That big section did me dirty and rolled another foot toward the road center when i cut it free.
On the plus side the farmers corn field is litterally rigjt there for parking and i cleared it to ride through.
Im planning to be back Saturday. I might be able to pull it just enough with my truck and a chain from the field. What could go wrong lol
